There are three major regions in Belgium, they are the Brussels-capital region, the Walloon Region, and the Flemish Region. The regions are separated by what language they speak. For example the people who live in the Brussels-capital region speak both Dutch and German, people who live in the Walloon Region speak French (The Walloon Region means french speaking province), people who live in the Flemish Region speak Dutch, which is the most popular language in Belgium.
